In Remembrance

How do we want to be remembered? As someone who made a difference in others' lives by showing them the love of God in our actions, or someone who sat idly by and let people make up their minds about who they thought you were. On a day like today, there is no question that life can change pretty quickly, and you may be one of the lucky ones, or you may not. So the question is, what are you going to do to be remembered? If you are even remembered at all. There is a time for everything, and the time is now to be living life in a meaningful way that will impact the future. We should consciously make an effort to factor in our eternity into every single thing we do. We can make a difference because we have the power of God in our lives. We don't have to be forgotten with nothing significant to say about the life we lived when it is over. We can accomplish more than our minds can even fathom if we just listen to what He has to say. When we trust in the Lord, our lives will have a purpose, and with faith that God is in control, we can do the amazing things He has planned. It may seem like nothing is happening in your life and you may feel like you're in the limbo of day to day routines, but God is always building and molding you as His workmanship to carry out His will for your life. It's not something that our eyes can see every day, or something that our hearts will always notice, but one day they will. And that day, that it all comes together to make sense, of what this whole life has meant, that is the day I'm living for.
